GeneQuine Opens New Research and Development Site and Receives Grant

GeneQuine opens up a new research and development site in the greater Berlin area (state of Brandenburg, Germany) and receives a local government grant (GRW program) to support establishing the site.

In the new facilities, GeneQuine conducts preclinical research for the development of gene therapy drugs for treatment of musculoskeletal diseases such as osteoarthritis. GeneQuine is also generating new gene therapy product candidates at the new site. Furthermore, scalable manufacturing processes for the gene therapy vectors are being developed and optimized. The non-dilutive grant supports the acquisition of state-of-the-art equipment for the new lab.
